1. Website and operator

This website presents a game in development, provides information about the project, lets you register your interest in playtests and contact the operator. These features are free to use.

2. Game and artwork status

Crowns Aloft is in development. Feature descriptions reflect the intended direction and planned scope, which may change. We have not announced a binding release date. Concept illustrations are not screenshots of working gameplay.

The website does not currently sell the game, offer pre-orders or accept paid reservations. It does not promise a particular version for any specific device or date.

3. Playtest registration

Registration requires a valid email address, a platform choice, consent to communications about playtests and acceptance of these terms. You must be entitled to use the email address you provide.

Registration does not guarantee a place in a particular playtest, access to the final game or a reward. Selection may depend on the available build, capacity and devices being tested. If you are invited, the organiser will provide the conditions, installation instructions and requirements for that playtest. Separate acceptance of those conditions may be required.

Consent to playtest emails does not include a general newsletter or advertising for other products. You may withdraw by contacting the operator at any time. You can also request an update to your registration in this way.

4. Contact form and enquiries

The form is for correspondence about the project, playtests, partnerships, privacy and website operation. Provide enough information for a reply and describe your enquiry. Do not send passwords, payment details or special categories of personal data.

You can report concerns about the website and its online services through the contact form or by writing to the operator. Describe the issue and provide contact details for a reply. We will respond without undue delay; if further investigation is needed, the operator will explain the next steps, subject to applicable legal deadlines.

5. Conditions of use

You need an up-to-date browser and internet connection to use the website. JavaScript provides animations and additional interactions; core content and forms also work without it. Some form features require essential cookies.

Unlawful content, impersonation, spam, attempts to gain unauthorised access and disruption of the service are prohibited. The operator may reject abusive submissions and use proportionate technical safeguards.

Using the forms does not create a user account or a commitment to purchase. Minors should use the services in accordance with applicable representation rules and guardian consent requirements. Age requirements for individual playtests will be provided separately.

6. Content rights and personal data

Website materials, including the name, branding, text and illustrations, are subject to applicable rights and licences. Making the website available does not grant permission to use its materials commercially. Please contact the operator about press coverage or partnerships.

The privacy policy explains personal data processing, withdrawal of consent and cookies. These terms do not limit rights granted to users by mandatory applicable law.

7. Changes and ending services

You may stop browsing the website at any time and withdraw consent to playtest communications as described in the privacy policy. The operator may close recruitment or end free services while respecting user rights and data retention rules.

The current version of the terms is published on this page with its date. Changes are not retroactive and do not extend existing consent. Applicable law governs matters not addressed here.
